Gramonnati Mandal was established in 1944 by one of the renowned educationists of India, Guruvarya R.P Sabnis. He founded the institute with the noble mission of introducing education in rural area. His mission was realized into reality during last 76 years. The initial has developed into reality during last 77 years. The institute has developed in too many directions and education has made available to Students from K.G to P.G classes as well as Research Center in Commence, Management, Business Economics, Cooperation and Rural development, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Business Law, Accountancy, Marketing, Cost and works Accounting and History
About the college
Gramonnati Mandal’s Arts, Commerce & Science College was established at Narayangaon in the year 1993.
Narayangaon has a rich spiritual, historical and cultural heritage. At the initial stage our college strength was just near about 40 & up till now it has increased to near about 3000. Now a days our college is known as multifacility center of higher education in the rural area of Pune district. The college runs Arts, Commerce and Science faculties as well as post graduate sections of M. Com with advanced accounting, Business Administration and Banking & Finance, post graduate diploma in Taxation, Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance and various certificate courses. M.A with Economics, History & English & M.Sc. with Chemistry successfully. The college has a well-known Research Center in Commerce & History. These are well equipped Laboratories and grand Library in the college Campus. The Teaching faculty of the college is engaged in academic and research activities. Apart from regular academic activities the college undertakes various Scientific, Socio Economic programs and learning Center.
The college campus is situated in the historically famous and commercially important region. The region is gifted by the beauty of nature and pollutions free environment. This region is a part of western ghat of Maharashtra. The college is well equipped with as adequate infrastructure, big play ground and nice campus. The College has reaccredited by NAAC.
The Indian accounting association is an interface between academicians, professional and practitioners from various universities, business, industry and government. The main function of IAA is to promote and disseminate the knowledge of accounting and the related subjects in India and abroad. Further, it aims to undertake and encourage research in the field of accounting. Ever since its inception, the IAA has served as an important forum for raising the status of accounting both as a discipline and as an important tool for managerial decision making.

The Indian accounting association is an interface between academicians, professional and practitioners from various universities, business, industry and government. The main function of IAA is to promote and disseminate the knowledge of accounting and the related subjects in India and abroad. Further, it aims to undertake and encourage research in the field of accounting. Ever since its inception, the IAA has served as an important forum for raising the status of accounting both as a discipline and as an important tool for managerial decision making.
The association was founded by academicians and professionals in accounting on March 15, 1969, and was inaugurated on February 14, 1970 by the Accountant General of Uttar Pradesh at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. The association is registered under Uttar Pradesh Society Registration Act No. 21, 1860 No. 1429 / 1968-69, with Registration No. 5058/ 1 / 1983 / Date 17/03/1969 at Lucknow. It is a member organization of International Association of Accounting Education and Research (IAAER). It is also held in high esteem by American Accounting Association (AAA).
